My old Brother mono laser printer/scanner died.
I am on the lookout for a new printer. Not going Brother again as I found their driver support exceptionally poor.

Cost does not matter if you have to buy original cartridges for half of retail price (not saying you have to for this printer, did not bother to check).
I'd go older Xerox units that use Samsung printing mechanism and cartridges and dead easy to either replace chip on a cartridge or just reflash firmware.
