I was looking for free games for my new ipad and then came across this one. amazed by its 5 star comment (112/127 on current version). the last update time is last December, so dont expect it will take advantage of new retina screen. but download now, the developer will update it sooner or later. anyway, it should be a very good one.

also, zombie gunship is free at this moment too. you can find the link to the gunship on the page of towermadness (same developer)

just downloaded "Nuts", another highly recommended game from same developer (looks to me this developer has quite a few good ones).

    I got the first version as a freebie about 12 months ago on OzBargain…. and now I got a HD version for the iPad.

    This isnt one of those shitty 5min games you play and delete folks…. if you like a little strategy and blowing things up, get this. Hell, get it anyway and try it. By far my most favourite game on iPhone.

      I love tower defense games and I deleted it within 5 mins (Plants Vs Zombies is heaps more enjoyable, as is Fantasy Defense and geoDefense)…however I will give it a go on the ipad!

      you can play hundreds of hours worth without paying for any of the extras. i have. great game.

        yep…. i didnt buy an extras and have definitely spent A LOT of hours playing this game. there's maybe one or 2 maps that I cant finish, but the rest are winable without addons.

    I've paid for it earlier due to the nice comment. and deleted after playing for a couple of minutes.
    the 3D images are soooooooooooooooooooooo ugly!

      i dont play it in 3D…. its a strategy game, you need to be able to see what's coming up the road. Top down view is best.
