  • $85 is great for those shoes.

    I would love a deal on Rebel V2 and/or 1080

Do you reckon we are likely to see anything good to come with click frenzy or just stuck with the average adidas/Nb deals so far.

    • NB is currently doing 40% off selected styles but running shoes wise not really interesting. FC Prism v1 is even more expensive than v2 from RunningWarehouse. Might have to wait for some combined discount from eBay + New Balance to get good deals.

      Don't think we'll see 1080 at under $100 though.

One of the 1080v11 colourways comes down to ~$150 with the code above. That was good enough for me to pull the trigger. Good price for a reasonable durable easy day shoe.

Good store to buy your shoes from.

Agree. I’ve been using them for may 12 years now (initially in the US then in AUS) and have never been disappointed

Just waiting for Asics to go on sale. Been ages since they have been discounted

  • Bought the Guide 14s in last week’s deal for 97.50 - put it off for ages too! Oh well.

    • Thoughts?
I'm torn, few reviews I've read have said they are a bit clunky

      • I find runrepeat's reviews pretty balanced.
They seem pretty good value for money

      • Have only done one run in them and they were okay but slipped a bit on the heel. I'll re-lace them and see how I go.

The weight doesn't really bother me that much because the cushioning is really nice. I've had heavier stability shoes, but yeah they're not built for speed.

Funnily enough I also currently have the FuelCell Prism in rotation and they are light and speedy and great - but much less comfortable. I recommend them both.

    • Sorry.
I didn't think price would drop any further given that $110 (pre 15% off was already great price!)

      • haha neither! i'm not too concerned.

  • Thanks OP, ordered a Saucony Guide 14.
As Australia is coming out of lockdowns, I most likely will run less.
But! Nothing wrong with stocking up!
