  • These are brilliant in blue.

    • Do you own one?

      • +5

Yep, I have one of these in blue, makes for a great dress watch. You can't truly appreciate the domed crystal until you've seen it for yourself.

Edit: Mine is the version IV with thinner minute and hour hands, I'm sure the sunburst dial is the same apart from the indices.

I have the one in grey.

The Bambino to get, though, is the version with the white dial and blue hands. It's a gorgeous watch for the money.

        Here's mine - https://imgur.com/a/le3PfzP

The blue dial can appear 'black' based on lighting conditions (as compared to my black dial junkers).

I think out of all the bambino versions, this is the best, but then I like the bauhaus style.

Much more stylish than the Braun one from yesterday.

This one. It would get confusing because I would keep grabbing it in the morning to have a shave.

  • I got the version 1 for about $145 recently. It's very nice.

  • Is this for bambinos?

Edit: I misread! I read it as the name of the watch followed by “bambino version” 👶

Quality automatic at a fantastic price point - can't go wrong with Orients.

Have several Orients in my collection - all amazing bang for buck and aesthetically pleasing.

A Bambino v1 in gold with white dial was my first Orient and is largely to blame for sending me down the rabbit hole of automatic watches.

Still looks classy and performs reliably. Agree that photos don't do justice to the domed crystal on the Bambino and cannot be fully appreciated until on your wrist :-).

  • I've become hooked on ecodrive /solar, I tend to swap watches between days and hate having to set the time on autos when I haven't worn them for a few days , and since I bought a case openener swapping batteries once very 2 years is also cheap and easy at home ….. yes still own 8 autos though.

    • Glad you enjoy another watch by another brand that's completely different in look, mechanic and design. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Any thoughts on the bambino? 🤭😆

  • The great bambino
