I totally agree. A deal is a deal even if I am not interested in the deal in fact. Which is a good reason I have never negged a deal just because I have missed out on it.
The fact you might disagree with me asking clarification of was it sold out in 2 minutes is no reason to neg a comment either, but folk still do. No sweat.

is there any trick on getting on there.. I sit there and hit refresh from 11.58 onwards and the page just sits there loading…
is it better to hit refresh repeatedly… i.e. if page doesn't load in 5 seconds, refresh again?

I actually today tried connecting the computer directly to the modem as opposed to going through the router, but that made bugger all difference.

I don't know what they are trying to prove with their terrible service - perhaps how they are pathetic at building web sites, or their offers are so limited as to worthless for almost all except the very few who get one.

I've purchased all three deals I wanted to (when I was available at 12pm), clicked through twice for the second lot of gold class tickets (but they actually require a different login now, as opposed to the first set, so I was prevented from multiple purchase).
Even this one, I clicked through to the payment page (I believe you're fine when you hit that), but didn't need it so didn't proceed.
You just need to internet better.

When COTD first started I really hated them for exactly the same reason - super bargains with no stock, its taken them a few years to win me back. AMEX is now burning me too.
