Good set at a very reasonable price.

Reasonably tough, excluding the shockingly poorly attached spoiler, which you can restick on a slightly different spot to make it more kid friendly.

And of course the side mirrors, but that's always the case in all sets.

It's less than $20 bucks. You gotta imagine, if there's no imagination, there's no Lego. I'll kick a fuss on the neckless minifigs and unbendable knees. And they are all shoeless, some more, they are promoting Adidas.

        Are you having a stroke?

      • +4

Huh? I provide lego commentary for parents with young kids. Because it's useful.

"The Nissan GT-R NISMO measures 1 inch (5cm) high, 6 inch (16cm) long and 2 inch (7cm) wide"

    I don't think that's correct….

For a start, 1 inch is not 5cm and 2 inches is not 7cm

Either that we've all been measuring things disastrously wrong for a long time haha

    • +24

      Yep, 2 inches is definitely not 7cm… I would know… :(

      • +3

        12inches is 7cm

        • you live in Lilliput land?

    • +3

      What?

      • +6

Sorry too much Wild Turkey again .

        • Looks like we found the broden on that 1.75l deal. All that happened with a bottle that size is that I drank even more of it in one hit.

      • +3

He has been keeping the deal to himself to scalp and hoard as much as it can. He's one of the top Lego scalpers around.

        • +1

But what’s his gumtree/eBay? I’m interested in buying some retired LEGO.

        • You mean bottom.

        • This is my 3 yr min fine wine hoard lol
I was happy with Kmart providing the Audi at $15 but the Ferrari never really has been much below $25 and has eluded me . Maybe a Prime Day 15% off happy hour with a gift card might be the best price for that piece .

      Ok

if its made in China it may be laced with 5% asbestos. Does anyone know if Lego is safe? I'm now checking everything.
    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-11-09/asbestos-found-in-imp…

    • Bought a Flyhal FC600 RC recently, a bit worrying it might contain asbestos.

    • You're checking everything o_O?

Border control should hire you. Seeings they don't know how to check for asbestos without lab testing

    • If it contains asbestos then it may be fire safe.

      • +4

That's why I set all my purchases on fire:

        to confirm no asbestos.

  • Thanks OP. Don't know if I like it. But bought one anyway.

    • +1

Send it to me if you don't like it, love a freebie!

  • before you build your purchase check google for light kits, regret not doing so for the ducati, here is an example for gtr but there are cheaper out there-

    https://gameofbricks.eu/products/lego-nissan-gt-r-nismo-7689…

    • Light kit costs more than the set.

      • I think source them in China and enjoy the margins these guys do like 10 X cost :)
You want jacked prices these lights are it .

  • Dammit! How did I miss this…
