Chemist Warehouse Delivery Missing Items

Hi, long time lurker here. Just wanting some advice over an issue I had with a recent order with Chemist Warehouse.

Recently I ordered three nicotine patches and when it arrived it was left infront of my house after coming back from work. I brought it in and upon opening up I noticed that the nicotine patches were missing. Contacted customer service and they told me they'll investigate it and after sending in images and waiting, came back to me with they can do nothing about it, as footage showed it had been packed. They also said to check with family if they had opened it and taken it, but I live with my boyfriend who doesn't smoke and would have no reason to.

So now wondering what should I do now?

    Sorry I can't help, but maybe consider using a free AusPost parcel locker next time?

      Yeah, lesson learnt. Was thinking that but traveling to one but I thought it would be more of a hassle.

        The whole purpose of delivery is not travelling to a post box parcel locker due to the incompetence of postal companies

    Unfortunately, that's the new MO of postal companies that are overusing their Covid excuse. Signature on delivery doesn't exist anymore as we are using a covid excuse; pressing pseudo door bells of dropping off items that can be stolen. Taking a pic and non-repudiation when claiming losses

    tell them you want to see the footage with proof it was your order
    A security guard at chemist warehouse once stopped me at the door and sad I couldnt come in as footage showed me stealing socks. This was rubbish of course

    Charge back or dispute it, they'll have to show proof to the provider to win the cb
