picked up a 140L, will come in handy for traveling. thanks for posting

    • Is that the max size for check in?

      • The 140L is a monster, you would NEVER get it on as "carry on", same as the 100L, too big.
the small one would be "marginal" for carry on.

        • Thanks but I want it for "check in", any idea about that?

        • Just found this for Air Asia:

The allowable baggage dimensions and weight for checked baggage are: combined dimensions of not more that 81cm in height X 119cm wide X 119cm in depth.

          The 140L is: 88 x 40 x 50 cm

        • Wow that is a VERY generous allowance!

        • Might be something to do with their introduction of 35kg and 40kg weight limits.

  • are these online only or can get them in store?

    • Just bought a 100L instore a few moments ago, same price.

  • How are these as luggage to be checked in on a flight? Looking for a decent one as an overnighter/week trip bag.

    • i want to know this, too. this deal has been posted here for a few times, and everytime it won a lot of complements. but, i really want to know which one (100l or 160l) is the max size for checkin on a flight? also, is it water-proof? if i put all my cloths in it and go overseas, i wish i could have all my clothes and other stuff intact when i claim my luggage at the airport.

      • "Total dimensions for each piece must not exceed 158cm (62in). Dimensions for checked baggage are calculated by adding together the width, height and depth of the piece of baggage."

This is from Qantas but should be similar for other airlines… It's 157cm for Singapore Airlines not sure for others.

The 140L one is 178cm and the 100L is 160cm so if you pack them full it won't be (technically) allowed (wonder if they check or not though…)
But yeah they sure are great for just clothes though eh? I mean the thing only weights like 1kg according to the specs which is a godsend for luggage! (considering traditional luggages weigh like 3kg+)

  • Has anyone used them before? Not really keen to buy just because they're cheap.

  • Bought 140L. Let's see how it is.
    Thanks for posting

  • The 60L one would be borderline carry-on size limit for most low cost carriers if fully packed. Its size is listed as 60 x 34 x 36 cm.

    Jetstar and AirAsia: 56cm X 36cm X 23cm.
    Tiger and Scoot: 54cm x 38cm x 23cm
    Ryan Air: 55cm x 40cm x 20cm

  • I bought the 60L bag not long ago and bought it onto Jetstar and Tiger Airways flights without any issues. You'll find that the bag (if you haven't stuffed it tight) is very flexible and will fit into the bag measuring frames they have.

This isn't to say that you might not get stopped with it, but I had no problems and I'd do it again.

Last time I bought a 60L and a 140L. They're quite well made and great for this price. The 60 is smallish but useful, I use the 140L one to carry a LOT of drum gear in (throne, sticks, etc) since it's pretty huge. They both have normal carry handles, a shoulder strap, and even a carry handle at each end which is VERY useful. They even have two clip straps which are used to take any strain off the zipper - really good design.

    • ^Practical info people can actually use to better make a more informed choice. Shame it wasn't a bit more common. Nice one.

  • I bought a 100L and 140L last time, bloody awesome bags for the price. Both still intact. At this price again i'm buying more!

  • Thanks
