Shopping Express - slow service

Hi, made a couple of purchases in the last couple of months with Shopping Express.
The 1st time was pretty seamless, but this time seems to be very slow.

Made an order on the 8th and in the order details it had it at the "pick" stage.
Checked a couple of days later and still the same, so I sent them a message.
No response, sent another message Friday and still at the "pick" stage.

I bought a few things at the sale they had last week, as well as free upgrade to express shipping.
Express shipping would be good, but I can't believe they can't at least get the order picked quicker.
At the same time, I purchased something from Centrecom and had it a couple of days later.
I believe the Centrecom order came from Melbourne, I'm in Sydney and so is SE.

Needed the parts for a new PC build for work, so timing was pretty important.
Probably won't purchase from them again, their prices are great, but that's where it ends.

Anyone else had a similar problem with SE?

David.

  • Bought a 980 Pro in their ebay sale last week. Received it shipped in 2 days.

AAA+++ great seller would buy again.

    • Thanks, maybe I'm just unlucky. 7 days and not even picked is pretty bad.

      • Clearly they either sold too many of that item during the sale and you maybe just missed out, or are having drop ship issues.

Either way, give them a call (their message system is hopeless) and ask wat the go is. If they need more stock in, it could be days weeks or months depending on the item.

        • Hi, you can't actually call them as you get a recorded message saying to submit a message.

  • +1

… at the sale they had last week…

If their sale went well, then that might explain the delay in picking and packing the orders. There might be a huge backlog.

  • if its stuck at the pick stage it could mean

    they are waiting on stock
have not booked the stock in
    issue with stock

you wrote a very detailed post, but neglected to mention wtf you actually brought

so example, if its a gigabyte motherboard they require a bios update at the retail level before being sold to customers (z690)
perhaps they have the stock but not the manpower to drop everything and flash 100+ boards to correct gigabytes mistake

    • This is what I purchased, no updates needed, so it should have been shipped.
Still waiting on a response from them.

      Intel Core i5-11400 CPU
      G.Skill Aegis 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 Desktop RAM
      Seagate FireCuda 530 500GB Gen 4 NVMe M.2 (2280) SSD

  • All sorted, not sure if it was my post here, but the tracking has now been sent.
