    You don't need it.

  • If you're exercising you can place the bottle on the ground next to you.

When i'm jogging or cycling i much prefer a hydration back pack

  • Use a hydration pack.

    • Great, any links for reference?

I got this hydration pack and would say don't cheap out. On 1+ hr runs there was rubbing on my shoulders which remained irritated for a few days, and there was nowhere for the mouthpiece to sit so I had to awkwardly tuck it into my shirt collar. I see some of the Camelbak's have a strap on the front for this, so I would opt for something similar if going this route.

It also got pretty sweaty for me with a pack on hotter days too, this is probably better with more expensive materials and breathability in better packs than my budget one hahaha

Packs can be annoying to clean out the bladder, something to consider if that concerns you.

To those saying 'just get a pack', plenty of people prefer running with belt or hand bottles, it is down to preference so OP ymmv.

Most belts do only 500ml bottles, which isn't a lot. Or they have dual holsters, which is a bit cumbersome and looks a bit lame to me. Haven't tried one though, maybe they're great? I personally hate holding stuff so would go either a belt or pack.

Given you're looking at that price range, I'd say give the kmart one a go to be honest, it can only be so bad, and will give you an idea if conceptually you're okay with running with the water weight.

How king are you running for? You shouldn’t need water if you are properly hydrated before going jogging unless you are running more than 1hr.
