  • What would the interest rate on this be?

    • -3

No interest charges are payable by you for the use of payo's Payment Facility.

If you authorise payo to direct debit your nominated Card for the due payment, the card transaction fee is

Visa and MasterCard: 1.5% per transaction
      American Express: 1.75% per transaction

      • Conveniently not mentioning your late fees I see

You will be charged a $10 late fee if a payment
is due from you but not received by us in
accordance with the Payment Schedule. A late
fee is incurred as soon as a repayment by you
fails to process on Payment Schedule. Further
$10 late fee added every 14 days after the
payment is due if the payment is still unpaid,
capped at a maximum amount of $40.

      • So you make your money from late fees and credit charge surcharge is that how it works?

        • Probably also fee to the business you're making the purchase from, driving up prices on everything, even for customers who don't use the service. Is that true rep?

        • More likely the commission from the restaurant (~5 - 10%). $10 late fee is just a bonus. Double-dipping from consumers and restaurants.

Pretty dodgy. Afterpay do not charge card fee's… how else can your customers pay their account ?

Also no real mention of a payment fee surcharge on the website… only buried in the T&C's

FFS, how many of these companies are there now? Government really needs to start regulating this shitty industry better.

Imagine going into debt in order to go to a restaurant, cafe or bar. SMH.

Australian's are paying $43 million a year in late fees to BNPL companies.

    • Good, otherwise you might use this "service".

Lol, they host their T&Cs on Google Drive! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G8FE4y8ZLkLAq6egLBhmtaA05vd…

  • includes west end?

    • Sure does! You can check out more venues on our payo app. :)

      • Why should people have to install the app to find out if there’s anything they like? Why not put it on your website?
