Hi, does anyone have experience with the ebay versions of quad lock cases for bike phone mounts such as this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/403159256236. I personally find it hard to justify the cost of the real quad locks as I just ride casually on the roads for exercise so if anyone could share their opinions or experiences with this or ones like https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/284273681569, or anything else below $20, I would really appreciate it.

Quad lock bike mount is $49 pay for quality so you only have to buy once.
Why do you need it on display? Pocket/backpack for me and watch where you are going.

Yes, I can vouch for that. Had a camera fail on a mobile when using it on the mount. Thankfully was covered under warranty, but still unpleasant.
Can I know which brand and model was it?
What did the repairer tell you what happened with the camera?

@BigLeviathan: That was Nokia 1020, but I would imagine any phone with moving parts in the camera would behave the same.
I don't know, because I just dropped the phone off at Harvey Norman (purchase place), they acknowledged there was a fault covered under warranty and returned the new or fixed phone couple of weeks later.

I got fake quadlock that is 100% compatible and only cost me like $15 delivered for a whole kits worth of pieces.

I bought the one on your second link. It is really filmsy. I only used once or twice before throwing it away. The quad copycat on the first link seems to be better
