  • pretty good price. Worth mentioning that it seems like shipping is only $3.95 for metro melbourne and metro sydney.

    Didn't check other states.

i bought mine off amazon after getting a faulty stick of Patriot RAM.

Installed 16gb of crucial ram today and have had no issues at all.

    • just curious, what happened with your ram to find out it was faulty?

      • Games were crashing at startup. Within 30 seconds it'd crash back to desktop. It was throwing error codes to windows event viewer about the graphics card.

On a whim I pulled the new ram stick out and everything worked back to normal.

Then I removed the OEM stick and only installed the faulty patriot stick, and then random apps like chrome were crashing.

I ran a bunch of memory diagnostic tools but it couldn't find the fault. Often they require hours of stress testing to discover the fault

    Thanks, grabbed 2 x 16GB for a Legion 5 Pro.

  • How can i check what type of memory do i have in my laptop so i know if this one is compatible with my laptop?

I have 1 stick of 8GB in my laptop, would it be better to go with another 8 and have 16 or add 16 and have 24? Thanks in advance

    • If it's a off the shelf laptop, you can check via Crucial Ram Checker. Plus plug in your laptop details.

Download CPU Z. It tells you what ram brand you have, whether it's dual or single rank, whether it's running in dual or single channel, the speed (frequency) as well as the CAS timings/latency.

Go the 16gb so you end up with 24gb.

  • What are the shipping times like? contemplating getting 2 of this or this. my legion 5 pro arrives between 18th and 24th and I live in WA.

  • Does anyone know if the 8Gb sticks are 1xR8 or 1xR16?

  • Any 32gb sticks?
