Not really interested in this game but I thought others might be.

Does anyone know if they ever fixed the local multiplayer on this game? I only ever really buy these for that, and getting it to work on this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had in gaming… or at least in a gaming menu.

Probably not, I tried playing with my friends whilst using a ps4 controller.
The game wouldn't let us use a non "PS5" controller.
Totally killed all interest I had in it- 0
That's a Sony thing, you can't use a DS4 controller to play PS5 games (it only works for PS4 games).
