      Do these really make a difference in real life?
      I mean most homes are not air tight, so if it rains it sucks.

        I'm having the same doubt as well! My clothes still stink from the rain and feel like just cheap remedies you find in your home like from vinegar may just do the trick

        I have used these at home (garage) and at work. They seem to reduce mold in the garage. At work I have humidity sensors and they don't seem to make much difference to those compared to a proper dehumidifier. So yeah, they work, but don't expect miracles.

        They are fine if you want to hang them in the laundry or dryer room. Just don't try it in a bedroom wardrobe or it'll haunt your dreams.

      Yes, buy one or more of the refillables for $2.90, and yes, it's exactly for absorbing moisture. If you have places in the house that gets mouldy, stick these in there.
