VLC sucks. Mx player with the codec pack from XDA is the winner

    Better than VLC?

    • Doubt so.

      According to the developer website:(http://www.edavs.com/OPlayer.shtml)
"Android version OPlyer is based on Open Source VLC app, more information can be found on http://www.videolan.org."

      VLC isn't that good anyway.

Might as well use media player classic via CCCP codec or klite mega code packs (desktop)

      Or mx player on mobile

Why is their thumbnail a picture of the Halo 5 cover??

  • Video Player, no need to convert videos, enjoy your movie time.

"OPlayer has been awarded the “App of The Week” by MyAppFree ( https://app.myappfree.com/). It will be free to download from 20 to 22 of November! Get MyAppFree to discover more offers and sales!"

After trying heaps of different media players on Android, I think MX Player is great.
It's for people who like PotPlayer.

    • Agree VLC is not on the same level as mx player

  • For Android and Windows. I use AIMP for audio and VLC for video. Both completely free.

  • I tried playing a video on a new laptop, windows took me to their store to pay for a codec. I just laughed and installed VLC, like I've done for years on every bloody device I have.

    • HEVC codec is free. Yet Windows/Microsoft wants you to buy the codec for $1.45 to play the video using the film and TV app. When other media players include it for free.
