International Destinations Open to Australian Travellers (must be double vaccinated)

• UK - Travellers will be required to take a COVID-19 test on or before day two of their arrival in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
• Europe (European Union Only) - Generally no requirement except for being double vaccinated for at least 14 days prior to arrival, please see https://reopen.europa.eu/en for the most up to date information
• USA - Travellers must return a negative Covid-19 PCR test 72 hours before departure (at your own expense)
• Canada - Travellers must return a negative Covid-19 PCR test 72 hours before departure (at your own expense)
• Singapore - Travel Bubble is in place, travellers must apply for a VTP via online portal here, must be in Australia for 14 days prior to departure and arrived via designated VTL flights (all Qantas and Jetstar flights, For Scoot and Singapore Airlines only TR19, SQ218, SQ228 from Melbourne and TR13, SQ212, SQ222 from Sydney are an eligible VTL flight), obtained a negative Covid-19 PCR test 48 hours before departure (at your own expense) and be tested for Covid-19 test upon arrival. You must also have insurance policy covering at least SGD$30K covering Covid-19 related medical expenses. (Note different rules apply to transit passengers)
• Thailand - Travellers must return a negative Covid-19 PCR test 72 hours before departure (at your own expense), apply for a Thailand Pass, Insurance policy covering at least US$50K to cover Covid-19 related medical expenses, a confirmed payment for 1 night stay at an approved hotel and be tested for Covid-19 test upon arrival.
• Argentina and Chile - Insurance policy to cover Covid-19 related medical expenses and be tested for Covid-19 test upon arrival.

Note: some destination will require health declarations completed prior to the trip and you may also be required to download an app.

International Destinations that MAY be open to Australian Travellers before Christmas (must be double vaccinated)

• Japan - Travel bubble talk is on-going, hopefully before Christmas (note business travellers may be able to enter Japan)
• South Korea - Travel bubble talk is on-going, hopefully before Christmas
• Indonesia - Travel bubble talk is on-going, hopefully before Christmas
• New Zealand - May announce opening of international borders on 29 November, will be updated once we know more information

All Australian Travellers will need to produce a negative Covid-19 PCR test result 72 hours prior to their departure back to Australia (note currently only NSW and VIC are accepting return international travellers without the need of going into hotel quarantine).
