          Not vegan as it say's it's a synthetic sole.
          Dr Martens pride on labeling vegan if they are so that's a give away too.

              @DaveD: The synthetic is just the sole which is the rubbery plastic under the boot. The Boot itself is made of animal leather

    I bought a pair of these last time they went on sale. They didn't really need "breaking in" like docs usually do. Very comfortable from the get go.

    Anyone has first hand experience with wax/dubbin/oil that works well on Gaucho/Crazy Horse leather? Mostly interested to make them a little bit more waterproof.
