  • Good charger I have been using it for almost 12 months without any issues.

Does this come with a charging cable ?

    • +2

I doubt it, Most chargers these days don't come with a cable.

    • Thank you! just bought from Kogan using my points. :)

  • Would this be a good option for a Pixel 6?

    • +1

Beats paying $45 for the official one which doesn't even charge at 30W. I bought one for my 6 Pro

    • I used it today. Seems to charge at the same rate as my old Pixel charger? 🤷🏻‍♀️

      • is your old Pixel charger the 18W one?

        • I guess so? It's the one that came with the 2 and 4

  • Does anyone know which protocol this charger support? What are the supported charging profiles?

    • Output: 5V ⎓ 2.4A / 9V ⎓ 3A / 15V ⎓ 2A / 20V ⎓ 1.5A
Typical 30W USB-PD charger. It's fine for Google Pixel 6 Pro because both Google and Apple use USB-PD. Google never used QuickCharge 2, 3 for their phones (you can tell because their engineers were doing reviews to check USB-C cables (for PD)).

Generally, I highly recommend sticking with original chargers. Anker is generally fine. Anker tends to put in more safety measures in their designs than el cheapo ones, but original still tend to have better designs and components.

      • Wow exactly what i was looking for and didn’t think anybody would know haha. Thank you very much for the help.

I am basically looking for a charger that’s going to be able to charge multiple devices like iPhone, iPad by using a single outlet as it’s hard to find many next to each other in many occasions and will have multiple usb c and usb a ports for travelling. That’s why i was looking for multiple protocols.

But i think you are right, best bet is to just use the OG chargers.

      • How do you know how many safety measures are in my designs? 🤭

  • I assume this doesnt have Samsung PPS for ultra fast charging (despite being enough watts)

    • +1

Based on the specs, it doesn't support USB-PD/PPS (PPS is no longer used only by Samsung, some Xiaomi phones also support PPS). However, for Samsung phones, unless you have Note 10 Plus or better (for Note) or S20 Ultra (or better), you are not going to get 45W PPS support.

25W PDO vs PPS, honestly, there is not much difference even if PPS is supported. So, if you have S21 or S21 Plus, I doubt it matters. If you are after PPS with a large Samsung phone, then go with Samsung original charger.

  • Can you switch off the led?

    • No, I don't think so. Reference: I own one already.

  • I have this and it won't charge a baseus wifi charger disc whereas I have 5 port usb that will. Wondering if there's a compatibility issue?! Seems bizarre.
