    Scratching my head here.

Sure it will be functional but it genuinely (at least for the pendant light) looks really cheap and ugly and will ruin the aesthetics of anywhere you hang it.

And still overpriced at over $300.

    • I have one in my place over our dining table and actually love it. That's a particularly awful photo angle that doesn't capture how large this thing is.

  • Got the ceiling light for around $300 about 18 months ago. Very happy with it. Needed a very bright smart lighting solution for the kitchen. Puts out a lot of light and plays well with the rest of the Philips Hue ecosystem. Need a sparky to install…

Ceiling lights are really good - returned the Pendant

  • Gee, what an ugly pendant. Surely Hue could design something better looking than that.

They are $99 lights. $400 is theft

    • Combine this with Telstra $500 voucher port-in deal - thanks you are with Telstra lol

You will get $101 left for other overpriced stuff.

    • $99…maybe if they weren't smart lights but these integrate fully with the Hue ecosystem and will never have to change the bulbs. I think they are worth more than $99 but $400 is a bit steep. I have the ceiling version and am very happy with it. Would not get the pendant myself.

Wouldn't it be more Ozbargainish if you just buy an oyster light and change the bulb?

  • Loving the Hue stuff. Grabbing one of these to replace an oyster light that flickers when dimmed low. Thanks
