I'd probably do a search for what you want. So for cameras. It seems a lot of the good deals are the brick and mortar stores. I personally got my Pentax SLR half price on clearance at BigW.
Other stores listed: dicksmith.com.au, amazon.com/.co.uk if the particular model ships here, dealfox.com.au etc.As for phones, I would take a browse through the mobile category. Kogan, eglobal, etc. seem to be the most competitive. Shipping times may be an issue though.
