I have just picked up a pair of Asus XT8 (Wifi 6) to go with my asus Asus RT-AC5300 (Wifi 5),
The problem I am currently having is that I seem to have is that some devices drop the wifi connection and it doesn't so much seem to be a coverage issue as my house isn't that big, but I do have quite a lot of wifi devices/smart home devices, mainly on the 2.4ghz band and thought possible too many devices connected up to 1 device.
I'm wondering if it's better to keep the AC5300 as the main router and then ahve the XT8's as satellites or have the XT8 as the main router and the other XT8 and AC5300 as the satellites, or alternatively scrap the AC5300 altogether.
The above will be using wireless backhaul because I have no network points and will be too difficult to run.
Or just return the XT8 because I won't see any benefit.

XT8 = router.
XT8 = satellite.
AC5300 = satellite or scrap it depending on the XT8 Wi-Fi coverage.
