Dang, that's cheap, I vowed never to get an lg TV again due to the smart TV I bought getting dumber and dumber as lg removed features. (Unless it had an Android or which apps keep getting updated)

I guess now days with cec and fantastic set top media android/ TV boxes is becoming less important as you update your device rather than the whole TV.

Quality wise it's been good… just not smart after a few years of owning it - that said it's been almost 10 years and still going strong…(just not smart after the first few years.)

    • this is so bloody true.

    • I thought I was just going senile thinking my LG Smart TV had more functionality when I first bought it. Lol.

Remember when sizes just shy of this were for the super wealthy, with price tags of $70K+?

    • Makes you wonder what they get now 👀

They get unemployed actors to come to their house and act out scenes from the latest movies.

  • How does this compare with the Sony Bravia X9000h 85 inch?

  • why is it so cheap? Is it full RGB sub pixels or RGBW, or some kind of cheating that doesn't give it full resolution?

  • I have no ideas about TVs but how does this compare to the OLED that’s been on sale here for around $2800 for the 65 inch. I can see the LG same model but 65 is about $1200. Is the OLED so much better? Thanks

  • is the panel IPS or VA? I can't find this info.
