Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 16GB (2x 8 GB) DDR4-3200MHz CL16 Memory $99 + $9.90 Delivery ($0 C&C, NSW Auburn) @ PCByte

120

Timings: 16-20-20-38
The white version is also available for $10 more. Unsure if this is a decent price, but nevertheless it is at its lowest price according to https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/LDCFf7/corsair-vengeance…
Looking to pull the trigger at this price however since i'm quite new to the pc-building world, some words of advice would be appreciated.

  • Corsair Vengenace RGB or Crucial Ballistix RGB, which one to choose?

    • +1

Ballistix has Micron die which I think is better but they are much of a much.

absolutely the Ballistix. However, spend an extra $15 (shipping should be free) and get the 3600mhz CL16 RGB Model

      Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz CL16

I bought 2 kits of these so that I could get 32gb running in dual rank (4 sticks) and they're both Micron E-Die, so good headroom for OC. Also relatively low profile so it should work with heaps of different CPU cooler configurations (and roof-mounted AIOs)

Thanks my man, just took up that deal, saved $22.60 on free delivery.

  • Yup I got the 3600 version. I feel this is good Ram, for a budget build. Low profile too, good clearance for my ITX board and Noctua LH12.

  • I got the Kingston fury 3200 c16 32gb(might be cjr) for $159 from Amazon during Black Friday.

  • Trying to find decent price for Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory, anyone come across some?

This would be a better buy

Crucial Ballistix RGB 16GB (2x8GB) 3600MHz CL16 RGB LED DDR4 Desktop RAM Memory Kit $114.00 or $118.71 at amazon

CAS: 16-18-18-38 CR 1T at 1.35V - XMP and they are single rank so getting 4 sticks would be optimal
    ( best performance )

Does faster ram help with a mid range graphics card NO .. next to 0% improvement even at 1080P
Check out this video.. but pretty much all reviews show the same thing.. low single digit % points

  • I'm guessing it'll take a while for them to send these out.

I ordered something last Thursday night, got the automated invoice, nothing since then. It was listed as stock at all three stores and online. So they're at least 3 business days backlogged, probably more, just on registering the deliveries and not even actually giving them to the delivery company.

Not too long after I posted this I got a tracking number. Based on the courier (Couriers Please) and ETA I doubt I'll have it by Christmas. I'll update if I'm wrong.

      • Looking unlikely I'll get it this year. Maybe not even first week Jan.
