Saw this deal at Harvey Norman, thought it was a good price for Australian stock with local warranty.
You can get it cheaper through grey import, but not a lot cheaper and may be worth the extra cost for those that don't want to hassle with overseas companies for repairs, etc.

Lens and body don't really go together, but lens is good as a back-up. Might as well get the 550D + lens deal for under $500 i think.
Good price, I bought my 60D over 12 months ago for $900 just for the body from Singapore. Great Mid range DSLR.
Body alone is worth about $900 for local stock.
