  Are the trying to see what price point is the best for this meal? A few momths back this same deal was $6.

  1. Do a "deal" for $6 - check number of sales.
  2. Do a "deal" for $7 - check number of sales.
  3. Rinse and repeat until you have the most profitable price point and set that as your "normal" price
  4. Profit!

    This is textbook economics in action. After seeing this deal, I see why economics assumes people aren't rational.

    If people don't purchase this, a profit maximising firm in a competitive market will add further incentive to buy (lower price, more inclusions). If people do, it'll go up to $8.

    Same. I may just quit eating Hungry Jacks altogether. Unless I try my luck with daily shake and actually win something.

      Yup that's what I do, try my luck with the shake and win. Mind you, I don't even live near a hungry jacks (odd because in in Melbourne inner East), so I only even do that once a week.

      No, there was an identical deal at $6 from several months ago. It would've been right before the $6 bacon deluxe + medium drink

  Bonus is that upgrading to a Medium meal is an extra $1 and Large is an extra $2
