      I'm not a fan, but at $40 if you buy it and don't like it, you can always use it as a mixer.

      Chivas Regal 12yo is fine. It's not a thoughtful experience like a Lagavulin single malt, but it is a fairly good blended whisky. Far better than most at its price point.

        We need to drink whisky that's fresh and still in Use By date.

      Try Dimple 12 year which is also blended and often on sale or if you can spend little more, get Dimple 15yo.
      Different story if you are drinking it with coke. In that case, get whatever is the cheapest.
