    Thanks OP. Bought one.

  • That's a "yup!". Thanks OP!

  • Great little into this one, well worth the money

  • So just to confirm, this is just transmitters/receiver, no microphones right?

      Built in mics…

    • +2

Both transmitter units have inbuilt mics and a 3.5mm TRS input for plugging in external mics like a lavalier.

    • +2

You get 2 transmitters and one receiver, and both transmitters have built in mics. You can also plug in those lavalier mics into the transmitters if you want.

90% as good as the yet-to-be-released DJI Mic for half the price? I’m sold! Delivery Tuesday, nice… 😏

Best of all, the Rode is made in Australia.

  • Just about to start recording some stuff- would this be good to go on a GoPro and just a standard camera? I know absolutely nothing, just about to watch the review linked above.

    • +1

If the device you are recording to has an audio input it will work, else it will record to the SD in the receiver and you can add it in post.
Go Pro you need a 3.5 to USB C adapter for direct input.

      • Got it, thanks.

      • Unless you have the media mod which has a microphone jack…

      • Partly incorrect. No SD in receiver, does have internal storage in transmitters.

Audio from receiver can be sent to recorder via 3.5mm jack and USB-C port on the receiver.

    • You have to buy a GoPro branded mic adaptor before you can plug in an external mic, there are 2 to choose from:

      • GoPro Media Mod
      • GoPro 3.5mm Mic Adaptor

Just make sure your GoPro model supports the one you plan to get.

  • Solid Price, odd they diddnt do this during the Black friday + cyber monday deals.

  • Killer deal ! Have one and loving it !

  • Can't add I think OOS.

  • 349 already :(

  • I'd been tracking the price of the original Go through the camel but not this one. This is a very good price even for the original, and it looks like it may have already sold out :(

    • Someone must have remove one from their cart - just got one a moment ago still at $279.

  • back to normal price

  • Great buy. I had the v1's and loved them, and replaced with the 2 as i needed two mics, and they are just a super well rounded product.

    • hi, just want to ask for your thoughts, how do i hide the unit on groom, when wedding video?

If i put it behind the groom suit, will the sound be muffed and reduce the sound level due to the wall layer created by the suit ?

      Any advise? Thank you

Would love to get one, but this thought hold me up…

      • I would hide the receiver and use a lav mic tucked into the jacket, just hidden away.

I've been using this as a voice input mic for my PC gaming too. It keeps the background noise out, while allowing me to use my BT headphones using the Audio profile and not the fuzzy muffled communications profile.

  • These are so good.

  • Just bought this for $300 a few days back :(

  • Glad I missed this!

  • Have this same set and am blown away with how well it works, very simple and great range so far used it for maybe 5 weddings and it's just hassle free good quality audio for my films

You can attach a smaller lav mic to these, put the receiver in the suit and the lav mic poking out in the normal spot.

It has been restocked for a few hours now

    • Oh well, I ended up paying $300 on eBay…

  • For those who missed out, it's back in stock.

  • looks like price is back up to 344

  • New app and firmware out today. Improvements include batch export and export sections of files.

  • Back up to $344…
