Big fan of meelectronics. This would be my third pair now.

  • how are these compared to the klipch s4? I got to use my Amazon voucher and the Klipch s4 are $28 + sipping

    • link? I wasn't able to find one at your price… Cheers

    • I can use your voucher if you like :-)

I have the M9P (if it helps) and Klipsch S4. I got the M9P for $34 from the MEElectronics website and the S4 for $80 at HN during the last financial year.

The S4 sounds way better overall - I'm no audiophile and I can't explain the technicalities as to why it's better but the sound is just cleaner. The bass might be a bit too much for some on the S4 but I personally like it. It's not overpowering to the point that will hurt your ears though. Overall, I've found the S4 fantastic for trance and hip-hop tracks. For pop music, it's average.

The M9P's apparently take 50 hours to burn-in. I paid $32 for them. I've probably listened to it for about 4 hours and I have to say I'm very impressed with the sound quality they produce for that price. They're no where near as good as the Klipsch S4 but still miles better than any stock headphones you'll ever get. The bass isn't too heavy on the M9P. Nothing will make you say "WOW" about these headphones but they're very easy to listen to. No amazing mids, highs, lows, but good overall and definitely worth the $32 - especially if you're looking for a headset that is compatible with an Android device.

      • the MP9 wouldn't be any good for hip hop like Beastie Boys then?

EDIT: They are $19 shipped on Amazon for the silver ones

        • Answer 1: Compared to the S4, no they wouldn't, as the bass in the S4 is very clean and more prominent. You can "feel" the music better in the S4 =P
On some tracks, I found the vocals in the M9P to be clearer than the S4.
Also, if I lost my S4, I would happily use the M9P to continue listening to my music. I wouldn't bother buying a replacement S4 (not only am I happy with the M9P, but I also have the $159 TF10's from LTS on the way :D ).

Answer 2: (Without comparing to the S4) The M9P's sound good too. By no means are they average for their price, but don't expect to be blown away.
I don't have Beastie Boys on my playlist -_-"

  • Anyone had these AND Feels Pro 900?

  • as comments above said.. the sound is good but the build quality (although good for the price) is average. i ordered 2 pairs with a mic 2 months ago and the first have already had it. I'll order without a mic next time but would def buy again. i'm also interested in that Klipsch s4 comment.

I have a pair of them , I don't believe they have decent sound quality,
my cheap ULTIMATE EARS 200 has def better sound
    but its all preference anyway!!!

UE200s are absolute shit. All low-end UEs are shit.

  • Just Bought a pair for my brother, he loves bass and this seems a reasonable price, hope the quality holds up.

Bought some (after a bit of research), I hope they're good!

Still loved my original M6s most. I hated the M9s but M2s were okay. Gonna try this (Y)

Nice. Needed some new headphones. Ordered.

I know they're not the same model, but I recently got the Me Elec AirFi AF32 bluetooth headphones and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I would definitely buy more of this brand if it fits the purpose. I wouldn't get it for pure audio goodness but they seem to have some good solutions for mobile use.

    Well, my earphones just arrived.

The reviews and manufacturer claim this product to deliver sound with an emphasis on bass (aka punchy)

    First review off google:
    http://reviews.cnet.com/headsets/meelectronics-m11p-sound-is…

    http://www.meelec.com/M11_Earphones_s/245.htm

Even though it probably too late now this deal is expired to save others wasting their money, should this brand be posted again, please note the sound volume delivered by these headphones are pathetic. There is NO BASS, the sound is purely tinny. My cheapo's from Big W deliver louder sound volume and stronger bass than these pieces of junk.

Apart from looking stylish, these headphones are far from anything spoken about them in reviews.

Stay away unless you like listening to sounds that solely emphasises treble; you get louder and better reproduction of music through a telephone call.

  • Ordered last Friday and they arrived this morning.

Cant complain about the sound quality. Not much bass though.
