  • Oh hell yeah. Christmas fridge fillers sorted, thanks. (depending on shipping lol)

You wont get this before Christmas. They never ship immediately and that's just the start of the delays you're likely to experience. More than a month last time for me before items were received.

Can't say I've ever had a problem getting their orders to Brisbane within the stated timeframes (outside of Fastway/Aramex being inept, but that was last mile stuff).

      • And the tracking is terrible. My last order is still in transit, and expected delivery time is 2nd December..

I 2nd this, this is where they really dropped the ball, and the super annoying phone call to get you to sign up….

@Xistn: Thanks for the feedback guys. Delays can be frustrating. If you're ever insure of a dispatch date for happy hour products, they are always on the product page.

We obviously will be doing our best to get the beers to you asap. We had a customer in Wilcania receive their beers in 2 days last week which was amazing.

Of course shipping is sometimes in the lap of the delivery Gods but we do our best to get things to clients ASAP.

            Cheers

  • Love their beers

  • So tempted to try the TIPA but at $12.50 a beer, oof.

I get there's a lot of tax ($60ish for beer tax and GST) in that 16 pack, but still on the very pricey end of things.

    • It's a 10.5% craft beer.

I won't do the maths but I'm pretty sure it works out at pretty good value comparing to the usual 4-5% pale ales.

This is 2 or 3 of those beers in one can.

440mlx16 cansx10.5% alcohol is roughly double the amount of alcohol as a 24x375mlx4%. So unless you're in the habit of paying $100 for a slab of 4% pale ales, then it's not good value in that sense. Even the 4.6% ones here are $65, Juice Train is 6.5% and $99 (which is a great price, I love that beer and will probably grab some).

I get these are difficult to make because the volumes are low and they probably take a lot more love to get the hop/alcohol mix right, but $200 should probably be the retail at most, not the sale price. The Bad Shepherd Poseidon triple IPA was $150 (16x440ml cans at 10%), the Stomping Ground Triple IPA was less than $200 for 24x355ml, Akasha is about $200 for 24x375ml when they do their special triple IPAs, same with the Hope Brewery one (their 11.1% triple IPA is amazing too).

Maybe it's an amazing beer and the price is worth it. It's sold out on the Deeds website, so maybe the fact it's available is enough.

  • Cheers OP snagged two slabs

    • Brilliant! Enjoy. Thanks for your support.

      Cheers

  • Ordered a couple of slabs but haven’t received an email confirmation yet… hopefully all is ok

Thanks @fantacular - please email your email address; [email protected] and the team can check. You should have received a confirmation

      Cheers

    • I am in the same boat, no confirmation email.

Has anyone received their order yet?

    • Just received mine a few minutes ago in VIC, unfortunately the order was partially incorrect. Have gotten in touch with them hopefully they organise pickup of the incorrect item and send me my IPAs in time for new year.

Edit: Problems with the order aside I was pleasantly surprised by the shipping speed as going off some of the comments here I was expecting these to turn up in the new year.
