I was looking to get a six month Telstra prepaid SIM card and saw the promotion for the $150 pack with 90GB of data, reduced down to $130. Upon check out though it comes up as $120 less $20 discount which brings it to $100. This doesn't seem to be advertised anywhere so may be a glitch.
Our $150 Pre-Paid SIM Starter Kit comes with:
A 3-in-1 SIM card that fits standard, micro and nano sizes.
$150 recharge you can use after you activate on either Pre-Paid Mobile or Pre-Paid Mobile Casual plan
Recharge with your chosen recharge amount in future
Keep your number when you switch to Telstra, or get a new one.
Pre-Paid Mobile plan inclusions:
Get 90GB data on your first recharge when you activate on Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile plan. 60GB from your second. For use in Australia within 6 months.
Calls & texts to standard Australian numbers
Unlimited calls and texts to standard Australian numbers.
International calls and texts from Australia
With Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile, you get capped standard international call minutes and texts to selected destinations. A $150 recharge gives you 3000 call minutes to zone 1 destinations, 350 call minutes to zone 2 destinations and 50 call minutes to zone 3 destinations, plus 100 texts (SMS/ MMS) to any country. 6 months expiry.
For six month prepaid with 90GB of data and the usual inclusions (unlimited local calls, calls to some international locations, etc) on Telstra 4G (not 5G) this seems to be a decent deal.
Note that you must activate before 31 Jan 2022.
Activate your $150 SIM card on a Pre-Paid Mobile plan and get 90GB on your first recharge. Then 60GB from your second. Activate or first recharge between 30 November 2021 and 31 January 2022.
