My local Target showed it as Out Of Stock on the website. But i went to to check it out anyway, and they had plenty on the shelf. Might be worth going in and trying your luck.
My local Target was also showing Out of Stock on the website, but I decided to call ahead and they had one Xbox copy left on the shelf. They kindly put it on hold for me, no Click + Collect fee. Definitely don't believe the website!

Assasins creed games are garbage and have been for a long time. More like a job rather than a fun game with artificial padded content

Ugh I was at target yesterday and actually scanned the price of the Xbox version and still said $49
Stuff like this is why you're crazy to get a disc-less console.
MS, PS and Nintendo have ZERO competition in digital sales.
And digital stock doesn't take up shelf/warehouse space the same as physical stock does.
That SHOULD be an argument for cheaper digital prices.

If you go to your local target just ask them to check the desk. Online said they had no stock, but when I went in for my click and collect they had every version and atleast 5 of each in the draw factory sealed
Managed to get an XBox and and a PS5 copy (for a friend) from Point Cook Target, VIC. I think there were some PS4 and PS5 copies left.
Got my ps5 version cancelled. Apparently no stock for click and collect. No biggie, haven’t played AC since brotherhood. Only bought it because it was cheap.

Not many Targets left in Brisbane Southside, and when I checked this morning (~30 mins after deal posted), only Garden City had limited stock and others were out of stock. Didn't bother as figured if I ordered, it was going to be cancelled.
I am in gold coast. At least 5 or 6 targets around my place show in stock in the morning. Even after online sold out, there were still like 2 or 3 in stock or limit stock
I just check now, online still shows limited stock for Helensvale and Coomera. And Xbox at Helensvale as well.
However I didn't see any on the shelf at Helensvale, unless they hide in their deskthere are a few in targets around the gold coast as well fyi

Great price. Savegames are cross-platform, so if you already have this on PC and want to play on console sometimes, this is good to have.
I would call store as target systems say no stock online once it hits 5 or less. Edwardstown showed no ps5 editions but I called they still had a few

Ohwell, PS4 is better in a sense for resale. Ps4-5 buyers as it's a free upgrade.

Got my copy for the Xbox. The disc was packed in a satchel bag. Opened it at home and there were scratches and dirt on the disc. The staff definitely took it home played and finished it and then returned it to the store. For $9 I can't be bother returning it..
Haven't open mine, it has plastic wrap outside of the case. Not sure if that's repackaged
