  • correct me if im wrong, but arnt these RRP?

      X53 vs Z53

The Z has a LCD Screen.

    • i noticed theres a new Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH 280MPH ect available for preorder i wonder what the difference is between mp and mph versions i googled it but couldnt find any answer they seem to have the same specs for the pump and radiator and fans so no idea what the difference is does anybody know more

      • The MPH has Phantek Halo fan frames around the fans so they have lights. That being said AIO coolers are normally not very good compared to air coolers that are half the price.

        • thanks for clearing that up :)

Are you able to make it just say '+ Delivery' due to it not being a fixed rate? Google shopping says it's $15 for me too, but it's always higher than that, in this case it's $27.

Will do. Thanks for letting me know.

Genuinely cannot understand why anyone would spend this much on an AIO cooler. Even the Corsair H100i RGB Pro is a stretch. Just put a h100x into an itx rig with a 10700k and it's running at 60 degrees under full avx2 stress test load - and they're only $107 new on Amazon.

I don't get $300 for this 240 aio either, I'd go for Arctic Freezer, cheaper, fantastic performance. $300 is a lot for a 240.

    • +3

Obviously there are people who are willing to pay $100+ just for the LCD screen on the pump.

      • +2

thing is, they're actually spending $200+ over a comparable ordinary AIO to get an LCD screen on the pump. I would have thought the overlap between people willing to overspend on a vanity item like this and people who trawl OzBargain would have to be pretty skinny…

        • Note that I've just been negged by the one guy who must fall into that gap and has been triggered!

        • +1

Yeah you're definitely paying a massive premium for AIOs with customizable LCD screens. I believe Corsair sell their LCD screens seperately for 100USD. Some people don't care about RGB and fancy unless stuff like this, some do or just want to be different or have a aesthetically pleasing PC, myself included.

        • People pay extra for TG cases, RGB case fans, white GPUs, sleeved PSU cables… Aesthetics commanding a premium isn't news.

          • @v8o: There's commanding a premium, and charging 3 times the price of a comparable AIO cooler that does as good a job as this one. That's merely the point i am addressing.

    • +1

Having grabbed the EVGA 360mm for $99 recently and just put Arctic p12s on it..I also can't understand paying this amount. Particularly when dollars are needed for other overpriced PC components..

      • They probably paid an arm and a leg (>$3000) for a new RTX3090 GPU, so this $300 AIO cooler seems cheap now XD

  • +1

    Not a deal

$200 for a useless LCD screen

  • +1

Why someone would pay more for this rubbish cooler with spy ware bloated (by admission of NZXT themselves) shitty CAM software that is useless without its driver just for a silly vanity LCD when a $100-$200 cheaper (depending on sales or not) Arctic liquid freezer outperforms it, runs driver less and cross operating system is beyond me.

    Just vanity gone mad.

  • So what would best the best recommendation/deal for a 240mm cooler? Don’t need rgb or lcd, just something to let me overclock an i7-6900k a little.

    • Arctic Freeze 2 - rated as the best AIO for $ and performance and it really does a good job for overclocking. However, it doesn't look as fancy as other AIO…
