    Motorise graber breaks after few months, the fact that it need power (ie need car turn on) in order for the motorise graber to work is a hassle.

        hmmm are we talking about same thing? these are not gravity one, when you switch off the car it wont release the phone unless you turn the car back on again But yes the gravity wireless charger ones are great i got one many yeqrs

          @huu: Yes mine is powered - has a sensor on the left hand side and will release the phone when you wave near the sensor. With wireless charging as well.

              @huu: I can still take the phone out by manually pulling at the clamp. The only issue is I can't place the phone into the cradle without turning on the key - but I never have to do this so not an issue.

  Wow this is cheap. I paid $15 for mine, pickup, and didn't come with the car adaptor.

  Cool novelty that works.

  But I have read that the motorised mechanism can break easily. I had one break after about 3 times.

  I have one similar to this. It isn't the fastest charger, but it works. Useful for road trips where you are streaming audio.
  Doubles as a phone mount as well.

    Dependent on a number of factors such as:
    Vent design
    Weight of phone
    Angle that the mount is set to, etc.

    To be safe zip ties would be good as a backup
