Everlane are the more ethical of the bunch of great basics fashion providers. These are made with 50% recycle cotton and by there in house guides they pay their workers fairly. Personally not sure how to substantiate that one.
Their shoes I find are very durable and great fit and quality. Check size guide on the website and I suggest using the Japanese standard as it it based upon CM's. The length of your actual shoe size! Not sure why Germany didn't do this to…you being so precise as well.
