Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish Aerosol Wax 241g $13 (Was $49) + $9.90 Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Repco

310

A great polymer sealant in aerosol can form,

I've used mine 3 times and still have more uses left in my can, I was pleased with the results every time, Only downside is that you tend to get some on your hands or on the can itself when using the nozzle though it might be my own smooth brain's fault

      For me

    • 4 bottles for free shipping?

      • How can you add them to cart though?

        • It will only add 4 to cart if there is sufficient stock at your selected store

  • So just wash the car and spray with it?

It's junk. Not made for QLD sun.

Why does Qld have its own sun?

      • +29

No daylight savings. The sun comes up an hour earlier.

        • +2

          That makes sense. Cheers

          • @Muzeeb: Lol he was joking. QLD is closer to the Equator than most and is hotter and literally closer to the Sun than say NSW or VIC.

@NoApostrophePlurals: So Coolangatta is closer to the sun than Tweed Heads?

              • @Muzeeb: A state as a whole, not individual towns right next to each other. Come to think of it, the daylight savings bit does also make some sense, but that's not what people mean when they say "Queensland Sun". Generally speaking, it's just friggen beautiful weather there. Wish I was there now tbh.

@NoApostrophePlurals: I think you missed the sarcasm from MSPaint's first question.

            • +1

@NoApostrophePlurals: For completeness of missing the joke: the difference in distance is negligible. It's actually due to the angle that the sun's rays come in at.

It’s a flat earth … or so they’ll tell you

    • This comment has me hesitating to buy - I'm in metro Bris. Any other QLDers share their experience with this product - good or bad?

I have it. Its a sealant, it goes on after your paste wax. Never before have you seen such a shine.

Only lasts about 3 months; but damn is it pretty.

    • That's a bastard sun

Great find thanks, I use this stuff religiously and it gives great results every time. I find it's more durable compared to spray wax/sealant, but definitely doesn't last 12months.

  • Not sure how this goes but I bought some 303 graphene sealant from a previous Post and that shiz is amazing

    • All the 303 line is.
Iirc they developed their original formulas for perspex in the shuttles in colab with nasa.

303 prevents tires from dry rotting, belts from cracking, headlights from yellowing. Its amazing.

The only downside is the original formula is not a drying formula, so after a rain or such, you reapply.

      Love the brand.

    • How does it compare with the cyan Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax?

      • +1

I personally much much prefer their hybrid ceramic wax, also with it the instructions are wrong don't spray it on the car and rinse off treat it like a traditional wax and use a foam applicator pad and rub it in then buff off, It lasts a very long time, is super glossy and beads well

        • I did the Meguiar's ultimate wax my new car, I actually prefer a product that sheets off, rather than beads.
Water is very hard in my area, and water stains are impossible to get off, regardless of what wax I have applied.
I'm using two Big Green Sucker drying clothes to dry my new car now, one is soaked after half a car. The beading makes it so wet

          • @Spending2Much: A little tip for everyone, once you have cleaned your vehicle and pressure rinsed, flood the vehicle with a slow, no attachment hose starting at the roof and glass. try not to splash, just flood to remove the bead that is inevitable with a well maintained vehicles.
One big green sucker will barely get damp.
