Has Anyone Tried The Supercheap Auto's Carpet Cleaner? Yay or Nay

Has anyone tried the Supercheap Auto's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner? If so, what are views? Seems like a cheap replacement for the Bissel spot cleaners. Not having tried any such product am unable to form an opinion. What actually determines the strength of suction on these cleaners?

I have looked at the bissel spot cleaners specs but don't have enough knowledge to be able to compare these two machines. Looking to put in the least amount of elbow grease and still get a satisfactory clean of carpets, couches and car seats. Which one of these is more powerful?

These are spot cleaners for small stains and furniture units. Not a general carpet cleaner. You'll want to rent a unit from Bunnings for that.

I bought that Bissell to clean up a fresh ink stain, used as directed including soaking but didn't work at all and just spread it further.

    • This is what I found with the Bissell spot cleaner too. It cleans one section, but then the dirt gets spread out, and you have to clean that section. Rinse and repeat, and it got returned as I thought it was junk

The Bissell looks good, but how often would you use it..

Can't comment on the SCA one, but I know the handheld Bissell ones get some pretty average reviews and aren't worth the effort (lack of suction for getting the water and stains actually out of the upholstery)

Given it's not a weekly use thing, I'd rather hire one from Bunnings or Woolworths that has decent suction and just plan to do the carpets, rugs and car seats on the same day to make it worthwhile

        Thats my thoughts too

I have the Bissell and although it's a slow process I cleaned an old upholstered chair and was very happy with the finish.

I had to go over the chair a couple of times, took about 1/2 hour all up.

Old stains, marks, and a dirt buildup were reduced by at least 90%. Not as good as a professional could do but it was a vast improvement.
