      Neighbour gave me 2 they no longer used on covered deck.

          Mine are fairly noisy as has high air flow. That's why they were used outside. Imagine a fan used in a shed / small warehouse.

        yea high velocity are always louder then regular. Good for when its hot inside still but not hot enough for AC and outside is nice but no breeze so you put this outside and blow cool air in
