Zendure SuperPort 4, been on sale for $30-$45

        Currently around $80

        • What is the split between the two USB-C ports when both are used? eg Will it charge a 65W Surface Pro 7 and then use the remainder for say a PIxel 6? Or does it top out at 60W like many of these chargers do when you plug in more than one device?

@y2k: Had to check my manual for this.

            USB-C1 will output 100W
            C2 outputs 18W
            A1 outputs 18W
            A2 outputs 18W

C1 can be used with A1 & A2 together at full speed for 136W out

If you use the 2 USB-C's together, C1 drops to 60W, C2 outputs 18W and the USB A ports are as normal for 114W total.

I think that's just the current state of charging controllers that limits ports to 60W when multiple devices are connected, I'm guessing to maintain thermal limits. For your use case you could charge the surface off C1 to get the full 65W charging (or faster up to 100W) and then charge the Pixel off the USB A ports. I think the Pixel 6 maxes out at 21W so you aren't saving too much time compared to 18W charging, also the full 21W draw is usually only when the battery is flat or near flat.

Alternatively 60W would charge the Surface with no issue if you wanted a slightly faster charge one the Pixel.

            My 2 cents

            • @serideth: Oddly enough, the seller on Amazon just replied to my question saying that using the 2 USB-Cs together will give a 18W/82W split, which is pretty impressive as that covers almost all Surface Pros and most laptops.

@Serideth, when you say the 60W would charge a SP7 that officially requires 65W, are you saying that 60W is close enough? I'm not electrical engineer so keen to know. I got a Zyron 66W and it splits the two USB-Cs 30w/30W so a 45W SP6 refused to charge at all when my Pixel was connected to the other USB-C.

          Yes, $79 now at Amazon.

Just keep in mind no QC2/3 on the USB A ports, says with Zen +2 ( assume 2 or 2.2A per

port, 18W Max for both ).

The Zendure split is up to 100W for one and 18W Max the other, both 118W Max then 18W

max for the two USB A's.

        • thanks, will wait for a sale on that one, as is the OzB way

        • There are a few complaints about heat and lack of sustained 100w output.

I haven't run into issues but I primarily use the Zendure sp4 with devices requiring under 50w.

Here's a tear down and review:

  • I cant find anything form similar price

  • Reviews seem to be pretty meh. Super bright light and breaks down in few months time. I'd wait for sth better.

    • Haven't heard the brand, How long have you had it?

I've had the Zyrontech 66W charger. Splits the two USB-C to 30W each when both are in use, so you can fast charge your phone and a MacBook M1 but not more power hungry brands like Surface Pro 6 onwards. Seems to work well enough, and is quite compact. Can't speak to reliability over the long term yet.

Yeh I got one too only about 2 weeks. About to take overseas as it comes with travel adapters.

Using with my mbp 16 inch, iPhone and Apple Watch. 1 charger for everything. The 45w for MacBook Pro seems to be fine, otherwise it’s 66w if not using other things being charged.

It’s working so far no issues observed

"alan13" Wow, that Zyron charger looks like a beast. I like the 100W USB C Max and 60W

split between two, then 18W Max each (QC3) on both on top to an impressive Total 156W Max.

I heard that Zyron 156W deskpod will go on
a special sale closer to New year. ;)

If you click on the link, seems to be reduced already to $89.99 with free shipping for me,

but if reduced further that would be better and could be tempted myself.

        • +1

Cheaper than the $89.99 on the Zyrontech website and Amazon?

          That price is tempting already…
