This would have been perfect to rewatch during lockdown. Long show, good story, great characters. But, they ruined it. They ruined it so badly that people don't even talk about it any more.
Based on how it ended, I don't even know if I want to watch the new GOT related TV show coming out. In fact, I would be happy to never watch anything GOT again because of how bad that ending was
Totally agree with everything you said and that’s exactly how I feel about the spin offs.
Before the season 8 i rewatched all the previous 7 seasons so I was waiting for all the questions to be answered, there was no resolution of any kind and they destroyed all the character development

Took like 7/8 years of build up, plot points, character arcs and threw it down the drain. It was just the stupidest way to end it, and I wouldn't be surprised if nothing else ends as badly as that did :P

BSG isn't even in the same league as GOT for terrible endings ! Ending of BSG was a bit 'ugh' ending of GOT was three weeks of crying about how they could destroy something so beautiful !

Same, I'd rewatch all the Matrix movies or Pirates of the Caribbean movies before I watched GoT again. The ending not only was bad, but it ruined everything that came before it by proxy.
