A bit of OT commentary on the two states' competitions (& some side-bar comments):
I couldn't help noticing, that the SA competitors only had to fill-in a marketing-survey (telling about their Insurance policy & its renewal date)… fairly lame stuff!
OTOH, WA competitors had to -compose- a 10-word entry -AND- submit a photo of themselves wearing their Eagles' support gear… calls for a hint of creativity & proof that you're an Eagles supporter. Go WA!!! WA ROCKS!!! I like your values, WA!
(eg, You don't let your team make you -pander- to a sponsors' commercial interests!)
Another thing I -respect- about WA is it's POKEY-free (except in Perth's Casino)
SA still seems -locked- in the tight grip of the Gambling industry, which takes & gives very little in return…
SA, what can you learn from WA's & NC's examples? ;-)
