  • why do I keep getting an email saying your recent order has been cancelled as soon as I place my order???

  • For those like me who wonder what's the difference between 6 and 6s: Fenix 6S without music, maps and Wi-Fi features and without a sapphire watch lens.
Difference with Forerunner 945 are pretty much the same apart from the fact that 945 is not a sapphire either, it's Gorilla DX glass on both of them. 945 is more compact.
945 has a better battery life (around 30% or so).
Does 6s have a blood oxigen sensor? 945 surely does.

    • It does have the sensor

the difference is in the size.Orginary Fenix 6 doesn't have a sapphire glass etc either. Fenix 6 sapphire does

      This is incorrect.

6s is small (42mm case diameter)
6 is medium (47mm case diameter)
6x is large (51mm case diameter)

Regular models don't have maps and music
Pro, Solar and Sapphire models do have maps and music

Larger models have more battery life, so 6x > 6 > 6s for battery life

So for example the 6s has no maps, no music, the 6s pro has maps and music

They share all the same sensors (including pulse ox)

      • I am only talking about the subject 6s, not any other modifications, they would be irrelevant here.

        • +4

I'm just making it clear that the difference between the 6 and 6s has nothing to do with music and maps, since it seems like that's what the first part of your post is saying. That would be the difference between a base model and a pro / solar / saphire of any size, not between a 6 and 6s.

If that wasn't what you meant to say, then all good, but that first sentence reads like it is, so worth clarifying either way.

6S is not the same as 6 Sapphire

  • Not available anymore

wow that was a good price, no doubt price error, good luck whoever got in.

    • Dunno, there are strong rumours that the 7 series will be announced in a mid jan (including FCC filings - so it'll be soon either way), so it's possible people are clearing out the last few of the older gen they have in stock.

      • Back in stock at $499, does appear to have been a price error
