I was going to say how do you learn without need for piano or keyboard 🎹!
Then I saw the app :O

    • Keyboard app not included

  • I would still need a pianola

  • Not much of a book reader. Is there a video?

    • You’re not supposed to be watching someone play Waltzing Matilda… you’re supposed to be playing it

This is a very specific book…

    • So you want to play a piano in two minutes? Any song at all — with fluency? No previous experience? Too lazy to read? NO PROBLEM!

      Yeah, this isn’t The Matrix

Agreed, but i would hope a book would have a little more scope then how to play a single song. Perhaps "how to play 5 popular songs" etc. I mean it's fine because it's free, but i do wonder who would pay for a very limited book like this.

I say this as somebody who can play the piano.

        • I take your point, but we live in a world with an attention span of two minutes, so the simpler the message, the better, in my view.

Plus, if we want more people to engage with the piano, or music in general, then one song might be less intimidating than five.

Who knows, if they make a start…

    Does it come with chopsticks?

  • Wow. I’m impressed that the author, Robin Baker, managed to get 96 pages out of such a short song.

Skip to page 86 if you want to see more than one note per page.

    • 120 seconds / 96 pages = a little more than one second per page…
