Where to buy an Apple Refurbished iPhone?

Hey Folks,

Can anyone give me a good steer on where to buy an Apple refurbished iPhone?

I’ve seen a tonne of them on Amazon and many others websites that I’ve never heard of, but I’d prefer one refurbed by Apple, as I’ve heard plenty of scary stories with “refurbished” phones with awful battery life/motherboard issues.

The Apple website has a refurb section, but unless I’m blind (good chance) there is no iPhone section on the Aus site.

The budget is up to $500, and it’s just a secondary phone for work so I was thinking that something like an iPhone 8 would be perfect.

PS: I’ve seen sites advertising brand new iPhones that were very old models, and I’m very skeptical

Apple don't sell refurbished phones in Australia. Only refurbs they sell are in the refurb section of their website.

Pretty sure Coles are selling them for around $280, last time I checked. They come with a 30 days guarantee and a 12 month warranty..
Give it a try, if it doesn’t seem Upto par, return it.

    • Those are done by “Apple certified refurbishers” and those are the type that have battery issues

      • Apple shows Battery left now.

        Pretty cool features

    • Only chasing something Apple have refurbished

  • Find a brand new SE at a Cash Converters instead. Thats what I did for my grandfather, got one for $450 (RRP is $679).
Also got my 11 Pro new at a great price from a CC.

If none near you just look on the CC website and have one shipped to you from interstate.
Just call store to make sure its at 100% battery health and to see if Apple warranty for phone is still going.

Apple don't here, and people have given alternatives, if you're not interested then you're OOL

I don’t know why people are downvoting this. OP asked where they can buy Apple Refurbished iPhones, Apple don’t sell refurbished iPhones in Australia. OP will need to consider alternatives.
