  • Looks like a good price! Anyone bought this before and can vouch for it?

    Was $599 😂🤦‍♂️

This. Have bought a few things from Amart in the past so have seen quality. No way a gaming chair from Amart would ever be worth $599.

      • +4

Yeah a fake RRP and op falling for it.. I wouldn't touch Amart crap anymore as they wouldn't warrant their 10yo warranty they had on their couch until I spammed their FB page for a month for them to offer a store credit cheap junk from China

    • +2

Yeah, I've seen RRPs less than this from established brands like DX Racer and Secretlabs

Me reckons it’s the quality of a $249 gaming chair selling for $249.

    • +13

More likely the quality of a $79 chair selling for $249

  • Yeah nah

    The only review;

'It’s wrapped under the Christmas Tree and exactly what my grandson wanted for Christmas thank you' 5/5 stars.

    • +4

Probably a review by Amart themselves

Looks like the 169 gaming chairs you can get from.amazon

  • +6

I'm guessing the reason why they don't list the material anywhere is because it sucks and will surely start peeling off within 12 months
It looks the same as any other 'gaming' chair that you could just buy from somewhere like Kogan
Do yourself and the environment a favour and buy a fabric chair

    • what's a good chair that won't break the bank? I definitely don't want to faux leather peeling or the cushions flattening out after a year.

  • +6

That link now has the price as $309 marked down from $659!! What?!
Sounds like they are just making up any price as they go along.
The chair itself is similar to the Typhoon Gaming Chair from Officeworks for $149 (except for the swinging arm rests).

    • I'm seeing the same thing too.

Looks like the 150$ chair recently from an aldi special.

    • Because it likely is, under a new brand.

  • Agree with Raynes above.
There no description of material and you need to find out if it is PU leather.
If it is, then this will end up in land fill in a few years

  • Lol @ RRP. Get a used Herman Miller for that price. These chairs and the PU leather are pure rubbish.

    • Or Steelcase!

  • Don't.
Source: someone who's been down the multiple gaming chair route and regretted it.

  • Every single 'gaming chair' out there look identical, as in, literally the same mould, down to the side pieces.

Their not overly comfortable either, the seat goes waay to far back, not practical unless your a behemoth of a person.

    • I'm a bigger bloke and sat in a few of these. None have been comfortable

  • Not that I support gaming chairs but I'm 100% sure this is not on par with a secretlab chair at a magical 599 rrp.

  • Stay away from Amart chairs Period.
