For $600 this is a piece if shite

  • +1

These are rubbish el cheapo versions of the superior ninebot scooters, and at the same price

    • Bollocks. The E range is the cheapo one - this is a different category again.

  • +1

    Machine Parameters
    Max. Speed Approx. 20km/h

    And

The kickscooter has a range of 25KM and a 25km/h max speed.

    • This thing might make 25km if you push it for 13 of them

  • +1

IPX4 also not suitable for even moderate wet weather riding, as it can't ride through puddles.

  • Good price for this light scooter. Only if they do xiaomi pro 2 too this price too, waiting for gearbyte

    • No it’s not. It last like 40 mins from a charge. Terrible. You wouldn’t know value if it smacked u in the back of the head

      • What were you expecting for scooter around 10kg with around 5-8 km real range? It's more like toy

  • +2

IPX4 and 15km range isn’t nearly good enough unfortunately.

  • Am I wrong to worry about replacement parts in the hundreds of these things sold? Do people bu the extra battery at the same time?

  • -1

Too bad they are illegal on public streets

    • Only in NSW. But this scooter should be illegal everywhere. It’s crap.

      • From Vicroads:

        Is my scooter legal?

        If your motorised scooter:

is powered by a petrol motor
has an electric motor with a maximum power greater than 200 watts
has a maximum speed greater than 10 km/h
then it cannot be legally used on a road or any road related areas, including footpaths, share paths and public areas. The fine for an illegal device is $826. Other penalties may also apply.

      • They are illegal even in SA, only exception CBD and private properties.

  • Hi OP
Can you do a good deal on the ninebot max G30?

  • To everyone shitting on the range - this is not a scooter designed to go long distances. It's literally the opposite - a super lightweight true "last mile" device that folds up neatly.

  • Great second scooter that I can bring on the bus, cheers. No chance a Max would get on public transport in the morning
