    got one these
    not that great…

    these are better

    • Got both of them last time and found they were both good (I didn't use the brass sprayer in the OP though, just the connectors).

    • The sprayer I bought immediately leaked. As in water came out of it without the trigger depressed. Bottom of the barrel quality.

  • If I need 10 sets of these, is there a way I can place an order? Or is it just a case of trying my luck

    • You can check individual store stock on the day of the sale

Sorry, have to neg it as I have one.

Quality is terrible, they leak water, even with Teflon tape applied.

    • skinner !!!!!!!!!!!!

The best prerogative of brass attachments is that if left laying on the driveway don't break if you drive over them. They are also resistant to sun but they don't necessarily always perform better in avoiding leaks or under pressure.

    • Resistant to sun damage, but my god they are not resistant to the sun's heat. These things get untouchable if left in the sun.

      They're not great.

I've used these before and lasted less then a year before I had to throw them in the bin. Only after a couple of months of use they started to leak water.

These become like missiles if you have retractable hoses, an issue if you have kids

  • The plastic connectors can act as an intentional weak point in the tap to hose connection. If you pull the hose very hard, the plastic snaps, as opposed to having the garden tap detaching from whatever it's attached to and maybe breaking a pipe and having to call the plumber.
Do the plastic attachments last forever in the sun? No. But they are cheap and easy to replace every couple years

  • Have some of these from a few years ago and they're junk basically. I bought them thinking they'd do a better job than the ever breaking plastic fittings but nuh…they are bunk and like a poster has said, the plastic connectors inside them are a weak point along with the threads leaking on the tap connectors.
