I know i know. Not the best ever camera out there, not the best ever seller out there. But hey, 3 wireless cameras with base for under $200 seem to be a new low. Everyone else seems to want at least double that much. 1% surcharge applies for select payment methods.

  Cheap because Kasa cameras are already being discontinued in Europe, will soon follow here. Means no further firmware support or actual support of any kind for the kasa line. If you don't mind obsolete tech then sure get it for the low price.

  On a more personal note, I installed an indoor kasa camera 2 weeks ago. Found out that you can't turn off receiving audio at all which customers have been complaining to TP-link since 2019 for a fix. Its 2021, TP-link have churned out new cameras but still no fix. TP-link don't give a damn about customer feedback or privacy. TP-link security tech is a double edged sword.

    So they killing off the Kasa line completely? Including my beloved kasa smart power boards? they should’ve done this earlier m, they carried the kasa name too long after they bought them out. Made purchasing more confusing as of which to link range to buy.

      Tapo range is replacing Kasa.

      But it is odd because in the US Kasa seems to be continuing with a new model.

  Kasa is great, free cloud storage, good cameras, cheap….not a problem with the ones i have. Mind you if they kill off the free cloud storage down the track i'll be a bit miffed but hey, iv'e already gotten nearly 2 years out of my KC200 so im stoked. Very reliable, good motion detection, not sure why they are discontinuing as they're awesome for the price point.
