Do Banggood Have Australian Warehouses?

Can someone please explain how Banggood works?
I ordered a Xiaomi Redmi phone on Dec 15, and on the same day, paid 1c for a set of wireless earbuds (!). I only ordered the phone because the website said it was in an Australian warehouse and should arrive a few days before Christmas. The earbuds were coming from China, but tbh, I had no expectation I would ever see them.

So here were are Dec 31, and according to the tracking info, the phone moved from the Central Coast to A Sortation Facility in Sydney on Dec 17 and haven’t moved since; and yet the earbuds were in my mailbox this morning(!)

I spent over an hour on an “online chat” with Jimmy from Banggood two days ago, who was able to tell me nothing. Is there anything I can do? Have I just blown my money?

Jimmy told me to check if the courier had delivered it already- but I had already checked with the courier, who said they hadn’t even received it.

    What were you hoping Jimmy could tell you, when all you can both see is the tracking number?

    You haven't blown your money, if sent via Australia post they are that slowwww.

    It took them 20 days to ship a 20g item from Sydney to Perth (shipped 29/11, delivered 21/12). That was just before the Christmas rush period..

    Their tracking sucked as per usual.

      It looks like Banggood didn't actually lodge the item until December 17th, according to the Aust Post tracking information.

      That was fast. Yeah Banggood gave them the info but not the actual item to Auspost. Received on Friday and delivered from Perth to Sydney by Tuesday! How do you call that slow?

        No, item was shipped from Sydney (received by Oz post ~1st / 2nd?). No tracking until it hit Perth on the 17th, untimately delivered on the 21st.

    I'm sure they do keep stock locally. What you're probably experiencing is a postal delay. Simply put it, everyone is now buying stuff online to avoid catching covid. To further compound issues, with rising case numbers, probably many postal workers are now required to quarantine.

    I buy a lot from banggood. I mant cases, international post is quicker than AU warehouse and local post in general it seems.

    Can't offer any explanations why.

    Some credit card companies charge up to 4% for something charged in AUD and posted from Australia

    Just keep waiting. It'll arrive eventually, it's just slow.

    My phone order from China took almost 4 weeks. My mechanical keyboard took almost 3 months (because they were out of stock to be fair, and I knew that when buying)

    SAME BULL HERE

    I swear these guys are useless…. so I ordered the x3 pro 256gb around the 28/12 and there's been no updates since 30/12 tracking information entered… FROM AU WAREHOUSE

    So aramex keeps saying they have not received anything yet Banggood says it is in transit but why is it 2 weeks later and still in transit when it is meant to be coming from Australia warehouse?

    Banggood says please be patient due to pandemic etc etc but I have a feeling they have limited stock in AU so are now buying time for me to wait for the item to come from overseas?

    So finally they say we shall wait until Jan 21 if no news by then I shall get a full refund…. what a load of bull it shouldn't take 4 weeks to get an item from Sydney?

    Someone is being misleading here!

    My last order from the AU warehouse arrived a few days ago, about 2 weeks after i ordered.

      But it seems the item may arrive but without any tracking updates so I just have to hope and pray I'm home whenever they drop it off

        Yep, I had no idea when it was arriving. It just appeared on the doorstep one afternoon.

            @JesseN9: actually, when i check in my order tracking on their site, it does have an entry for "Onboard；Your parcel is with your local courier and ready for delivery." but i did not receive any notification other than the one after it was delivered.

            I guess you just need to randomly keep refreshing the page.

              @jv: So I finally got the phone and yes post man came and went before I got the tracking so I had to go to drop point to pick it up finally after 2 weeks
