    It's hard to recommend a specific running shoe, since they are dependent on your foot pronation (how much it rolls and whether you need arch support), foot strike, and what type of runs you are doing (heavily cushioned for long runs; llight & responsive for speedwork; raceday).
    
    All the major running shoe brands (Saucony, ASICS, Mizuno, Brooks, Hoka, Adidas, Nike, New Balance, etc) have their range of shoes to suit specific needs. For example, you can often find these under $100 when on special: Saucony Kinvara, Saucony Ride, Adidas Ultraboost, NB Zante, Hoka Clifton, etc
